2PP011 – 16 July 2009

2pp_album_art_110x1101.jpgJason’s special days begin the show, and we get into discussions right then. Governor Quitter us up next, then it’s on to real news: The crazy opposition to the Supreme Court nomination of Sonia Sotomayor. Arthur prefers liberal justices (even though Sotomayor isn’t one). We then move on to healtcare reform and then the economy. We got out first 5-star review on iTunes! Arthur was feeling a little under the weather today, but says that Jason more than made up for it.

  1. Roger Green says:

You’re right that Robert Bork’s rejection was two decades ago. But remember that Ronald Reagan is the Gold Standard for all that’s right in the USA for the conservatives, and Bork was a Reagan (failed) appointment. So “borking” Sotomayor is the secret wish of any number on the fringe, though the GOP – fortunately – doesn’t have the votes to do it.
