2PP024 – 27 January 2010

2pp_album_art_110x1101.jpgWe didn’t INTEND to be away so long, but life happens, you know? Today we start by talking about the Massachusetts special election before going into a discussion of how President Obama and the Democrats are doing. That means looking at the lack of a Republican alternative. This includes some talk about the coming Midterm Elections. The left even gets a bit of a serve this week. We also talk about the US Supreme Court making corporations equal to real people who are citizens of the United States.

We have phone messages this time! You can call and take part, too.

I can’t wait to hear what you guys have to say about the STOU and the republican response. I don’t know why I thought they’d be discussed on this podcast but since it came out the same day as the speeches, I guess not. Anyway, looking forward to hear what you all think.

  2. Maupassant says:

A question you guys didn’t address when discussing the wacko SCOTUS rulling was shareholder rights. If I’m a shareholder, or even a prospective shareholder reading the company prospectus, I would want to know if they were planning to waste $10 million backing Sarah Palin. And if it’s in the prospectus, and SEC filings, then their contribution is necessarily public knowledge.
