We didn’t INTEND to be away so long, but life happens, you know? Today we start by talking about the Massachusetts special election before going into a discussion of how President Obama and the Democrats are doing. That means looking at the lack of a Republican alternative. This includes some talk about the coming Midterm Elections. The left even gets a bit of a serve this week. We also talk about the US Supreme Court making corporations equal to real people who are citizens of the United States.
We have phone messages this time! You can call and take part, too.

Jason’s special days begin the show, and we get into discussions right then. Governor Quitter us up next, then it’s on to real news: The crazy opposition to the Supreme Court nomination of Sonia Sotomayor. Arthur prefers liberal justices (even though Sotomayor isn’t one). We then move on to healtcare reform and then the economy. We got out first 5-star review on iTunes! Arthur was feeling a little under the weather today, but says that Jason more than made up for it.

Episode 3 begins our regular schedule of podcasting every other week (more or less…). After special news, a special announcement: 2Political has it’s own US-based comment line—206-426-0527. Then it’s on to AIG and the implications of that whole situation. We say that reform, regulation and oversight will all be necessary. We then move on to talking about the plans to buy “toxic assets” and what that can mean. Back in a couple weeks!
